Job Description:
A company is looking for a Controller - REMOTE.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate and prepare statutory reporting aligned with Generally
Accepted Accounting Principles
Manage and execute consolidation processes under Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles
Oversee regulatory reporting specifically tailored for Property and
Casualty, adhering to National Association of Insurance
Commissioners guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent
experience
Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including
general ledger systems and financial statement preparation
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex reconciliation
and reporting issues
Experience managing a team of five or more professionals
Knowledge of the insurance industry, including policy and claims
systems, is preferred
