Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Access Services Authorization
Representative in Oncology.
Key Responsibilities
Contact insurance for benefits eligibility and authorizations for
patients
Document and maintain records of all referral activity and
authorizations
Respond to provider orders for tests and procedures, obtaining
necessary authorizations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED is required
Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare insurance and/or
authorizations
Certification for CRCR required within one year of hire
Advanced abilities in common office software, including word
processing and spreadsheets
Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and work
independently
