Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Mortgage Loan Underwriter to
evaluate and approve mortgage loan applications.
Key Responsibilities
Review and evaluate mortgage loans for compliance with
guidelines
Analyze loan files and develop counteroffers to meet member
needs
Mentor and train underwriters and loan representatives to enhance
team performance
Required Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. degree in business or equivalent education or work
experience
Minimum of five years of underwriting experience
Experience in a leadership capacity, such as mentoring peers
FHA DE and/or VA SAR designations preferred
Proficient mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex
income analysis
