Job Description:
A company is looking for a Merchandise Planner to develop
merchandise plans and targets for product categories.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the development of annual, seasonal, monthly, and weekly
merchandise plans for assigned product categories
Lead and execute the season code Hindsight process and manage
in-season reforecast of category plans
Analyze business trends and partner with merchants to develop
business tactics and set markdown strategies
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in merchandise planning
Proficiency in analyzing historical sales trends and forecasts
Experience in developing and executing inventory and markdown
strategies
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership
